Opening 7 August 2020!

12th August 2020

Covid-19 lockdown started for us on the morning of the 26th of March 2020.  So, for 133 days our doors stayed closed for visitors. But no more! We are excited to announce that on day 134 also known as 7 August 2020 we will be open yet again for visitors to our Primate Sanctuary - Monkeyland.  Visitors will be able to follow a tutor through the forest and learn all about our forest and the 550+ primates that call it HOME!  These visits can be anywhere between 45 minutes and 1 hour.  We will be open for clients from 9am with last entry strictly at 4pm each day.  Remember if you want to try and do all three sanctuaries on one day to start early but if you buy a combo or triptic you do not have to do them on the same day.

Even though we have not been able to generate an income during the lockdown period and still had the expense of feeding our animals and keeping our staff we have not increased the price of our entry tickets:

1 sanctuary R280 per adult R140 per child (aged 3 to 12)

2 sanctuaries R450 per adult R225 per child (aged 3 to 12)

3 sanctuaries R560 per adult R280 per child (aged 3 to 12)

We will also be running our SENIOR (60+) Citizen's special every Tuesday for the month of August and September of 2020. This special offers seniors a 50% discount on our normal rate making it just R140 for 1 sanctuary, R225 for 2 sanctuaries and R280 for them to visit all three our sanctuaries.  The senior special is not available on any other day or in conjunction with any other special.

On day 97 we opened Birds of Eden to visitors to come and enjoy a day out in nature - sunshine gives off Vitamin D and we can all do with a bit of extra Vitamins at this stage.

On day 109 we opened the doors at Jukani Wildlife Sanctuary for visitors to do a stroll through the 17 hectare park to enjoy a day out surrounded by the sounds and sights of animals.
